At Prometheus, we produce both hardware and software. Our hardware, while optimized for use with Prometheus software, can be integrated into other environments as well. Our software is centered around the IEEE 1149.X standards, with hooks optimized for integration with Prometheus hardware. |
|
ScanSuite
ScanSuite is our flagship software application. It is used for both test development and program execution. Unlike our competitors, our test execution runtime is license-free. It can be used perpetually, with no fear of the license expiring in the middle of a production run. |

Turnkey Test Programs
Our test programs come with all the bells and whistles. Reports. Test procedures. Hardware. Software. Data logging. True fault coverage reporting. Everything you need to test your products, packaged neatly and documented well. |

DotP
JTAG has historically failed to provide test coverage for high speed digital signals. 1149.6 partially addressed this shortcoming, but only marginally. DotP is the only technology capable of testing JTAG circuitry, with resolution in excess of 8GHz. |

JTAG POD
Our JTAG POD provides the physical layer necessary to interface with up to four boundary scan chains. Each channel is independently programmable from 800mV to 3.3V in 1mV increments. The POD is a USB instrument, requiring no external power. For many projects, a pure boundary scan based test is a good option : minimal hardware, minimal expense. |

Athena Mixed-Signal Platform
The Athena Mixed-Signal Platform is a fully functional manufacturing test platform. The instrumentation bay contains a user-defineable mixture of analog, digital, and TAP / Power cards. Board-specific inserts (containing spring loaded probes for contacting the unit-under-test) are loaded in to the Athena base unit. When your project calls for a more, the Athena Mixed-Signal Platform provides it. |

|
Board-Specific Inserts
The Athena base unit contains reusable test instrumentation. Board-specific inserts mount inside the Athena base, and provide the means to connect the in-base instrumentation to a unit-under-test using spring loaded probes. |

Digital Module
Each Prometheus Digital Module provides a total of 24 digital IO, arranged in three banks of 8. The logic levels of each bank can be independently programmed at runtime, with valid logic levels from 1V to 3.3V, with 1mV resolution. Digital and analog modules can be stacked in a backplaneless fashion, making it possible to grow the instrumentation within an Athena base unit to accommodate larger designs. |
|
|
|
Analog Module
Each Prometheus Analog Module provides 15 analog channels, which can be connected as desired to a on-module 2-wire mux. These 2-wire muxes can be kept independent or connected together, resulting in an extremely flexible topology, capable of testing resistors, inductors, diodes, FETs and transistors, as well as measuring voltages. |

TAP / Power Isolator
The Athena base unit contains reusable test instrumentation. Board-specific inserts mount inside the Athena base, and provide the means to connect the in-base instrumentation to a unit-under-test using spring loaded probes. |
